... remember the Cesky Krumlov photos. When we were her 20 years ago, NO ONE around the square spoke ONE word of English. Now it's a real tourist destination.

Castle tour tomorrow and graphite mine tour on Friday. Rain expected both days for both days.

The Chapter Huose was a beautiful room with fabulous acoustics, now used for concerts and weddings. The cloisters were especially lovely, with renaissance decoration. And then there was the church. ... rafters drink of choice, provided by Milan, our guide. then he took us to a local microbrewery for some local beer and cheese as a substitute for our cancelled castle visit.

The day ended with dinner at a little Italian restaurant-pizza, salad, wine and gelato-a nice change from the heavy Czech food. We walked back under the gorgeous full moon, enjoying the night views of the castle
