I'm in the process of writing them there first ever number one. (Possibly a song to the tune of the Flintstones cartoon, but instead the opening lyrics being ' Chick flick, we' re the Chick flicks, ...' and so on, think there maybe a copyright law on that, so don't wanna get sued before we even start.

I digress, eventually made it back to the hostel, where the obligatory ...

sent his friend that sayas yes to everything and he came back with a
huge hashi nug and forced us to smoke. and drink. and smoke and drink
and smoke and drink..
but we got to sleep in till 10 undisturbed.
and they were gonna but us kabobs and make curry rice and give uys
anything but we figured we would bt expected to return the favors you
know so we ran away this morning! good times...

... but now, due to fundraising efforts, there are finances in place to continue construction. We have heard that it should be complete in 2025 or 2030. Unfortunately the line up for the elevator was 2 hours (but apparently the view is well worth the cost and wait). But someone (not naming names) didn't want to wait, so we'll return another day! We decided to walk about 6 blocks to Hospital ...

... that there is this bellow of smoke coming up from the town. Apparently a fire has boken out. I hope everyone is okay. From there I meander around the park and have myself an impromptu lunch on one of the bench's in the park. Baguette and ham. After that, I go to the Gaudy Museum associated with the park and how it was constructed. Not that entertaining. It was free with my Barcelona Card and the views were really nice. From ...

... into, or the phone call you look forward to every day. but still the silent journey continues. no one can find this place but you, not even them, no one can lead you...only guard you from falling off the edge. a walk of peace, a pilgrimage in search of your soul...in search of your center....is it on the winds of infinity? is it found within the rays kissing the ocean waves...or maybe... is it right back in the arms you left from?

... Spanish artists? I'm kind of picky (read, art-dork) but it seems that more Spanish artists are among my favorites than any other nationality. Gaudi, Picasso (I went to his museum too), Dali, Miro, etc. They appeal to my sense of whimsy and rebellion. Were they more tormented because of the heat? The Catholicism? The tapas? Who knows, but I did more "cultural" **** here than the rest of my trip combined. Otherwise, the only amusing thing I did was go on a ...

Had only a couple of days in Barcelona which were packed with walking around lots of the different architecture in the city - I loved Gaudi´s work (Christian thought it looked like something you would see in a theme park) which was amazing considering it is 100 years old. Had a crazy time ...
