    ... and small portions for big money. The worst thing was that the seats were incredibly uncomfy and it was extremely noisy.

    We left there as soon was we could and changed again, going out for a final walk around the Gardens of the Bay. Maybe this was step too far though as we were exhausted; it had been a long day and it turned into a bot of a trudge. We went back to our room and settled down in our huge bed for our last Singapore night.

    ... pizza she loved. After a nice lunch we went shopping at Bugis. One particularity about Bugis is that they included a street in the shopping mall by putting a ceiling over it. We went to buy a lot of cute bags and pencil cases from a shop called smiggle. There are also a few cute japanese shops there.     ... Not having met Dan before, it was really nice to enjoy a meal together in Chinatown. Normally these tours close out more than two months in advance but Dan has been very accommodating with my quarterly MRI's which allowed me to go on this trip.     ... reminded me of sucking on some of the neck bones Mom used in her soups. I also really liked the fruit and dessert...yes I did try a dessert version of the durian..the jury is still out.
