... goodbye and spend a final day with her before she left tonight. We got lunch first before spending most of the afternoon at the pool (there was a slide!!!) It was the perfect end to the holiday as another one bites the dust/goes home!

... a good lunch spot. We thought we should experience some local cuisine, so found an interesting little restaurant that had lots of pictures of noodles in the window! Woke at 3am, jet lagged and unable to get back to sleep but we eventually did and grudgingly got up at 8.30am to start our day. First stop:breakfast. We ate in a French cafe called Delifrance which was in the hotel's galleries and ordered scrambled eggs on a croissant. ... check-in counters are not difficult to find. However, bad news by the check-in staff. My flight is delayed by 2.5 hrs again. No check-in possible at this time. No A/C working. No air to breath. No success at Air Niugini's customer service desk. It took 30 min to wait in line and no support whatsoever. Worst airline ground service ever. They do not care if you dehydrate or faint. I finally found two expats who work for the airport. They said no chance. You need to wait for ...

... Porches on the road though Korean or Japanese cars are the most popular as expected. Another interesting fact is that Singapore has expanded its land area by 25%, pretty soon it will be as big as Australia - maybe not.  That explains why you'll be driving along Beach Road but you are a long way from the coast, it used to be on the beach.  Reclaiming land is a logical approach when you only have a small island to start with.
