The guide also mentioned that if I wanted to take photos I'd have to pay an extra 150CZK, so adding that and the horse ride onto the tour price of 880CZK this is turning into a rather expensive outing. There's a walkway above the shop that offers good views over the village below as well as back towards the castle.

... need a good clean, they are black with grime, there is one religious icon that gets touched. In the two places the bronze shines in the sunlight. We walked through lesser town to the Cafe Savoy. It is opposite side of the bridge to cafe Slavia. Cafe Savoy is amazing, it has this awesome ceiling that is now heritage listed and the food plus service is excellent. ... and having a drink but it was 15 mins away and pouring with rain so we just decided to head back to the hotel. The rain was as bad as Rome when we were there but the umbrellas did a good job though it needed to be a bit bigger to fit both of us in! Got back to the hotel and stripped off the wet clothes to dry, replaced the bags and off to sleep.
