I spent 2 nights here in a double room with a fan. Amenities were always clean. Free pancake breakfast with fruit salad was delicious. Wifi works a treat and the pool and hammocks were perfect. ;-)

Loved this place...

Weren't planning on staying in Granada but so glad we found this place!
Refreshing, clean pool (small but perfect in low season!), hammocks strung around the place and a decent kitchen to cook in. The place is quiet and it was nice to not have a bar on site for a change to get a good rest and some peace! But best of all was the free 'all you can eat' pancake breakfasts! You just can't beat that!
Fantastic staff and an easy walk to the main town square and lake.
The room was clean and neat (just needed a towel rack or hooks!) and the shared bathrooms were neat. Lots of chillout areas spread around this spacious property.
Now go eat some pancakes!

A true Oasis

This place is an excellent example of old colonial architecture in downtown Granada. The girls at the front desk will give you a map if you'd like to walk about or are very happy to arrange tours for you. The semi private room I had cost $9 in high season, and was located right next to the indoor pool. My room came with a fan to keep the air moving and a screen door that I could lock, if I wanted privacy and light while in my room.

The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained, there's free coffee and pancakes in the morning or a home cooked meal for a really decent price. Everything is written on the wall in the kitchen you.

There is a book exchange, a give away box and plenty of hammocks to while away a hot Nicaragua afternoon. The girls at the front desk were very helpful and will do their best to answer your questions and point you in the right direction, literally and figuratively.

We stayed here because I knew they did a shuttle to Lago de Apoyo to El Paradiso and I had read some pretty decent reviews about the place. Its centrally located, the staff are extremely helpful and speak excellent English, its clean and has a pool which is amazing! So the rooms are a little on the poky side but for one night it was totally fine for us. The price doesnt include breakfast but they do have free tea/coffee and sweet bread in the mornings. They do sell breakfast and its pretty nice though I'm sure you can get it cheaper in town. Its only a couple of blocks from the central park and the main Cathedral. Would stay here again.

Great hostel but much too hot

The facilities are great and the rooms are a nice size. The pool was fantastic, a brilliant touch. However our room was absolutely boiling, we had to pay for AC to enable us to sleep in there, even so it was still nearly 30 degrees. The WIFI reception was poor and at 11 pm you had to be silent in the common areas which felt very heavy handed.

Thank god for Granada!

I knew absolutely nothing about this place before I got here and I'm loving discovering the nooks and crannies of it. I got here to the hostel this afternoon, the driver who picked me up a the border brought me here after I asked him if he knew a nice place to stay. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got dropped …

Yesterday we moved off the island and took the ferry back to Betsy bus. A short ride later we had arrived in Granada. It's extremely hot and humid very very sticky and we are in a less than pleasant hostel. The room is like a cell and totally airless. Last night was Friday and the place we went to was ladies night where drinks were free as long as …
