Wine Country
One of the great things about traveling without a set itinerary is that you can change your plans. Originally, we were supposed to fly into Lima, Peru, make our way by land through Peru and Bolivia, and then circle back up through Northern Chile to Peru to catch a flight from Lima to Santiago. Once we got here, however, we realized that traveling …

Mendoza is wine country
mendoza is wine country and most certainly this area produces the best wine in south america. so we{re off to a wine tour in what we thought would be the countryside, but it is not the countryside and more like not near the countryside. we rented bikes to tour from one winery to the next, not realizing that everything was in walking distance. my …
Espanol, Vino's & Montanas
We hopped off the bus at Mendoza station at 9.30 am Sunday morning and went to our homestay mum, Lidia's house. Mike and Celeste have a great Hostel. Its friendly, very well run and is most importantly 'a nice place to be'. A real home-from-home hostel.

Lovely hostel with great owners! The asado nights are a real treat. Free wine in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. It`s also a wonderful place to meet people and the staff go out of their way to help you with anything you please. I did the Lao hostel winetour for 410 pesos. Would highly recommend this tour if you like wines. The six course lunch was to die for!
Highly recommended hostel!

This was/is the best hostel we've ever stayed in anywhere in the world! The hostel has loads of space, clean rooms, great breakfasts and free wine each night. The owner, Mike and his staff are worth the trip to Mendoza alone. Great, friendly service and personal recommendations that made our trip awesome. Can't rate this place higly enough!!
