When we could see through the foliage, the views were amazing. After a few miles we started to decend down to thatched roof bungalows nestled into the side of the mountain. The atoll reef breaks the waves mile out ...

... we both believed it was just the way the sun was reflected on the water, but the colour and shape was unmistakeable in the huge colour of blue. The huge ball started to tie in my stomach, I tried to look to the other side to ignore it but Ross was telling me to be super quiet and not move until he figured out what we were best to do. Terrified to put our paddles in the water, we sat silently watching it to see if it was moving anywhere. All I kept thinking was how it ...
