... just the 3 of us today. the locals definitely weren't impressed with the skills of us gringos, but some Europeans were. we quickly went from 3 Aussie girls with a Brazilian soccer ball and 2 Americans to an extra 4 Norwegians wanting to join our top quality beach volleyball game :-) international level competition clearly! it must have been a good 40minute game before the Europeans admitted defeat and team America got to celebrate the victory ...

The hippie market proved successful in more secret shopping, and our last chill in Ipanema beach was nice despite the clouds. Generally a time for summing up the trip and 'remember when' moments - a few to come in the next post I'm sure.
