Was a nice family run hostel with a great breakfast and a gracious mom and pop operation. No English spoken at all but nice people for sure. As you know the equator runs throught Quito which I think is also the highest capital in the world. It is about 8000ft up in the sky and feels it. The plane landing was particularly hairy as it seemed to heading straight for the mountainside and turning at the last moment. No wonder all the passengers applauded the aircrew.
