I arrived early in the morning and Wendy got me all set up. She upgraded me to a single room no extra cost, gave me a ton of ideas on what to see and do, & hooked me up with a 20% off bus ticket to Iguazu Falls for the next leg of my trip. So excited about the extra activities they put on, she even invited me back to join in later in the week even though I wouldn't be stating there at that point.

Well we have been in Buenos Aires for a week. The city itself has been a bit of a let down. With so many people raving about what an amazing city it is, we had high expectations. Although it's not like any one place, it has a very European feel about it. Looking much wealthier than anywhere we saw in Brazil, but yet actually in a pretty bad …

26/02/2014 - BA: Boca, Tango show
At the morning I went to the business on Florida st. - good success!
After I had enough money, I went to La Boca area. It is very small, only 4 short streets with painted houses and plastic images, like stuco,.. full of turists and restaurants, in which they play and dance the Tango (in purpose to achieve …

23/02/2014 - BA: San Telmo, modern art museum
I returnt to BA at 2pm, went to San Telmo, ate healthy food, walked in the Sunday market - same thing as in El-Bolson, which seems long ago.
I went to a modern museum - all the museums here are free and nice
I was tired, went to sweet Estoril, had a nice evening with people here, specially …

    17-18/02/2014 - Bus to BA
22 hours in the bus! The bus is very nice, a new one. I set on the 1st line of the 2nd floor, next to an Argentinian student (law dep.). We talked, and when we arrived he helped me in the metro. Now to the bad aspects: the bus has only 2-3 stops at the evening, here are no ṕlaces to buy food on the way. They were …

Well after weeks of relaxing on beautiful Brazilian beaches it was time to get back to city living in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately due to my tight travel schedule it was only possible to spend 4 nights in this amazing city. I did not have much info on the city coming in and did not do much research of my own, all I knew was EAT STEAK, DRINK WINE. I …
