... pics.. We ended up in what they call a hostel !!!! in the desert at 4600 meters - 15,000 feet above sea level. They first took us to a salt lake which has a higher density of salt than the dead sea. This tour was VERY active we walked up a moutain so we could RUN down and very HIGH sand dune to get into death valley. This enabled us to walked through death valley where it has not rained in two years. From there we walked through what once was a river ...

It was ten minute walk down a rocky canyon and contained the only plants and greenery we have seen in days. Back to town at about 2pm for a few afternoon local beers in the hostel´s courtyard.
