... beef steaks to taste. It was a small token to say thank you for the generous hospitality of the family, over many meals they have provided and the special places they have shown us.

The goodbyes were hard, as we leave to go back to Krakow, then Frankfurt, early tomorrow. It has been a dream come true for Viktor and his family to be together. The love and acceptance they have shown both of us is just so special. The tears flowed as we said "Do Widzenia."

... most people we meet here, they had many questions about Australia.

We did exert ourselves enough to walk down to the nearby village, which had very limited facilities. Our Canadian friends tell us it has shrunk considerably since they left, as it was once a thriving community. However, it was good to have the opportunity to walk past traditional cottages and pretty gardens, similar to many villages we have driven past in our travels.

... about Adelaide drivers again, as Polish ones seem to have little regard for speed limits, double white lines or slowing down for built up areas. We took it slow and steady, and after wrong directions from the GPS, eventually found the hotel we are staying in. ... Promenada, which is in a block of newly built apartments. We have a delightful Studio apartment, complete with cooktop, fridge and sink. It is located pretty close to the town centre and lovely parks.
