One of the best hostels in south america! Very homely, friendly and incredibly helpful owners, beautiful breakfast, good wifi and a relaxed but sociable atmosphere. Also good location and great kitchen facilities for self caterers! 5 stars from us, loved it!

Enjoyed staying here and having originally checked in for 2 nights, we ended up staying for 6! The main living area is so comfortable with big bean bags to chill out in and it seems like the sun is coming through the window all day! Well-equipped kitchen too! Staff very helpful and friendly adding to the chilled vibe. Not a party hostel which is nice for a change but is located on a street with about 4 pubs *still no noise* from dorms. Only fault is breakfast isn't great,,,croissants or half moons as they call them and cornflakes with warm milk. Have had better. Overall though, I would go back and stay there again!

      Great Hostel in Bariloche

Great hostel, warm and comfortable. Dorms have large lockers (big enough to fit a backpack and day pack). Beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. Staff were wonderful and even had an empanada night where guest learnt how to make them. Internet connection was good and bathrooms were clean with hot showers. Unfortunately due to a lot ash in the area, needed to take shoes off before entering the hostel - but nice to have an ash free zone.

Decent hostel. Everyone was very helpful except for the owner. Stick to word of mouth from travellers and the other employees. Good mixed crowd staying here. Common area closes at 1am which was the first I had seen that but understanble since it´s a small place

      The only non-skiers in town!

★Bariloche in a nutshell★Argentina's top ski resort, Bariloche has a very alpine feel with it's log cabin shops and st. bernard dogs posing for photos in the square. Every shop sells pricey ski wear and every restaurant sells fondue so it feels more like switzerland than argentina! The streets are crowded with hoards of students on …

The thing about living out of a backpack for 3 months is that you come to accept or at least find a reasonable level of comfort in a lifestyle whose comforts are few and far between. For example, I was happy to just lay in bed in Uyuni even though the bed was the worst bed of my life. Sometimes it's a question of budget, or it could be that it's …

Whilst not something I am overly keen to repeat, the 28 hour bus journey was absolutey fine. They throw, pretty much literally, three plane style meals at you and there are plenty of films on. Someone along the way had advised me to take my sleeping bag on board with me, and i was very grateful for it. Plus me and Owen had front row seats, so got a …
