... we stopped at the castle and then walked the 100 steps down the hill. The castle was impressive and of course we went into the church, it is all so beautiful and there is so much to see here. After the tour we stopped for a beer/wine and then walked back to the hotel. For dinner we went to a lovely little restaurant near our hotel and enjoyed Pate followed by brown trout with asparagus, delicious . Big day tomorrow so early ...

... the procession started and there was some fanfare from the balcony, not that we could see much. After about 15 minutes the old guard marched back out and it was all over with. Much shorter than the one in Ottawa, but in most respects better.

... Czech beer? :) we then set off to our last stop, the controversial 'dancing house', which is architecturally innovative, but despised by the locals. For a pre-dinner snack, we bought an authentic potato pancake with fresh sauerkraut from one of the local market vendors. It was divine! ... of the kiwi's was snoring last night and so I still felt massively sleep deprived! After the museum, We went back to the old town square where we ate ice cream and listened to another live jazz band. They call themselves 'jazz no problem' and say it at the end of every song they play! -- imagine it being said in a sort of borat style voice and that's them! Except they are actually old men ha!
