... the Djemma El Fna (the main square in the centre of the medina) is about 5 minutes away. And it only costs 50 dh per day (less than $6.00). The other penalty is that we are parked behind one of the loudest prayer broadcast towers in all of Morocco so I guess we won't have to set an alarm clock!

As I write this in late afternoon, we have had a little stroll over to the Djemma and through some of the souks, but we are feeling pretty much “souked out” ...

... However, there are scarfs made the same way.... The material is either cotton or cotton with a mix of cactus silk; as I researched this I found information about fibers from the Aloe plant that is sometimes considered cactus silk. But the cactus silk sounds pretty exotic and is probably a good selling scheme! I have learned that there is always more than one answer to a question here and it is best to always inquire with at least 2-3 people and use google if still in doubt!. ...
