We passed by a fishing village as we continued. Our guide asked us to stop for 30 minutes for lunch, It was only just 12:15 pm and none of us wanted to eat. Paraty is roughly situated in the middle between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro on the coast. It has a picture perfect landscape with mountains that drop right into the sea, tropical rainforest all around, several waterfalls and ...

... that looked like a yellow curry but we actually a sauce made from butter or oil we suspect. Regardless it was delicious and we had it with mash potato - but here's the funny bit. On the menu it said smashed potato's so you can imagine how excited I was! I'm raving to everyone about smashed potato's so you can imagine the look on my face when what was served was a bowl of mashed potato! Still, after I got over ...
