... it led us to a hippy Turkish cafe with a friendly owner (who was delighted to hear he is in the guidebooks!) and who served up a feast of fresh falafel and hummus-always a winner. ... Pantanal but as they prefer the dry season, hence why we didn't see any. This month is the worst in the year for mosquitoes, fortunately dengy fever isn't around at the moment. Thank goodness because not one of us had seen swarms of mossies like that before. It wasn't uncommon for 80 mossies to have bitten ones leg. They took a chomp from inside this guy's mouth. They chomped their way through our pants and knickers and they even tolerated 80% Deet, used as hand and face moisturiser. ...

... hadn't eaten anything. On the way back to the hotel we passed a Havaiana shop... OMG this look dangerous and for $10 each they are sooooooo cheap, Christmas is sorted hahaha. Woke up to a beautiful day outside great day for a boat trip.
So we were doin a day boat cruise on a sailing boat with lunch and Caprihinas inc :-) this will be a good day. We had a beautiful sunny & clear day for most of it. The water was clear and not to cold. ...

... because 'it was used in South America'. Well done HSBC. G rang to TELL YOU she was going to be using it in South America and then actually first used it in New York - not South America. So if she had been robbed you already hadn't helped. What a waste of time. Card still not working tonight even though she rang and told them to unblock it. How unhelpful. We will try it again in Rio.
