We caught a ferry and a 2 hour bus to the town of Paraty where we were welcomed with our first tropical down pour, which practically flooded our tiny hostel. The city is a old colonial Brazilian town which is well known for their cobbled stone streets. This didn't make it ideal for walking but regardless it made the town quite unique.
