Thursday morning we got up and headed to the bus stop. We caught a bus to Las Uvas which is where the road to El Valle de Anton starts. When we arrived I had us hop on the first vehicle we saw and only after we piled in did I wish I hadn't it was a minivan that was stuffed to the gills and would proceed to fit more in. The car creeped up the hills and it seemed we stopped every 2 miles; two regular buses passed us on the way ...
It is weird that I ended up in El Valle today considering the original destination and my history with never going to El Valle. I feel like it might be a story worth telling. If we are going to do that we must step back a week to actually tell the story.
Last Saturday, March 29th: I woke up wanting to go surfing but the list of things I needed for the house was too big. If I did not shop I would not eat that evening. So I made the decision to make a shopping ...

It was a nice way to spend our last night in El Valle (even though Neyra's meals were better!).

We stayed in a private double that is right inside the Orchid farm and had a lovely time. The layout is a bit wired as the shower was in the main building but the flowers don't mind you walking past with just a towel on. It was really cool to sit outside the kitchen and watch the local wildlife go about their business especially at night when the giant grasshoppers come out to play. Awesome!
