Have passed through 2 ...

It was hard to say goodbye especially since they also live in Queensland and so we don't get to see each other that much, the time we did spend together was fun and was a great way to spend a couple of days in Amsterdam! That night was a chilled night as I was still not feeling the best so just stayed in bed whilst my cousin quickly went to the corner store to get some food.

Then next day being New Year's Eve and with me still ...

      ... the soft foundations.

    • Most Dutch buildings are supported on pillars.
    • The canals are approx 3 meters deep: 1 meter water, 1 meter bicycles and 1 meter sand!
    • Insurance companies pay to have metal barriers placed on the edge of the canal so motorists don't drive their cars into the canal.
    • The skinniest house is only 1.6 meters wide. Dutch houses in the 16 and 17th century were taxed on the width of their houses, so ...
