At first this hostel seemed like a dump. But once you walk in and check it out it's really nice and well designed for security.

We fled Las Vegas in the dead of night, shouldering our packs and hiking down the main strip to whittle away our last few ours hiding way in the back of an undercover garage at Circus Circus casino. Watching the hours slip by with repeated viewings of Game of Thrones ep2, and alternating short naps until time clawed itself into the early hours of …

We met some people in Nepal that suggested we should try couchsurfing when we got to the US, so we thought we'd give it a go. We put a post on the website telling people about us and when we were arriving etc in the hope that someone would respond and let ...

Today we went to the post office. It took 2 buses but it was good to get rid of a few things in our bags! We both can hardly close our bags!! All the post offices we have been too besides NYC have all been quaint little post offices with a country feel. Everyone is super nice and lots of them know each other. We seemed to be only 10 mins from the strip and there were lots of homeless people with signs asking for beer. We were waiting at a bus stop and ...
