A day at the beach in La Barra

Day 2 in Punta del Este
... and then headed back into town. After thoroughly exploring the peninsula, we turned the scooter back in, and back to the hotel. We walked a block over to a nice restaurant nearby. Then we went back to the hotel to try and catch up on our blog entries.

Bums, Boobs and Bikinis
... of brazen flesh out on display! The women were also extremely well cooked by the sun and wore a bikini to dinner at restaurants, when out shopping and when hopping on and off buses! There was simply no way a skinny, translucent, flat chested girl like myself could compete, so I didn't. Bad Karma with the taxis in Punta del Este
... off of Kraft Dinner and Ichiban soup:-) It only has the basics - 1 big pot, 1 small pot, 1 big frying pan, 1 small frying pan. There is no spice cupboard, garlic press (a necessity in my world), drawers filled with gadgets or baking dishes.
I think it is going to take a few days to get back in the swing of things. I haven't cooked a meal for myself in over 2 months!!! Wow.... unbelievable.
But, I am 'home' again.
