          Had an ok night, except for a spider crawling all over me,
          but was till happy there was plentiful good strong coffee but the rest of the
          breakfast pretty blah!

          Got the 9.45, thankful the rain stopped for the 10 min walk

          Punta del Este, Urugruay is on the Rio del Plata, two hours east of Montevideo, nearly to the place where the river meets the Atlantic ocean. This chic resort is known as the 'St. Tropez of S. America', featuring countless beaches, museums, casinos and shops.           ... to get to an ATM and get back with 4000 Uruguayan pesos and are ready to pay. Reception girl calls the bus company to book us and they inform her there is no bus today.. It's only on Saturdays! 5 visits to the bus station and several re routing conversations later we now booked a bus to porto Alegre that leaves tonight and we will be there tomorrow morning at 8.           We are now spending a few days in Punta del Este which is the most popular beach resort in Uruguay and may also be the most popular place to spend your holiday if you live in the Buenos Aires area.
