... and a lot of good food and wine!
We started at Mas les Comelles, north west of Girona - a working farm, including the smell of the cows, with beautiful accommodation, great food and attentive hosts. Then on to Finca Bell Lloc - a winery at the end of a dirt road about 10 km inland from Palomas to the south east of Girona. The main house had been renovated with fantastic taste and the winery was an architectural wonder that was ...

Over and ...

Don't get me wrong, Girona is a clean place, but for some reason the annoying little creatures love the Girona air, and my beer. ... seaside town of Llafranc was welcoming with thousands of pine trees and a cove just small enough to host a port and a couple of hundred travellers. After a few drinks and a light snack we proceeded to taking in the last day rays and was convinced by a rather small sign to take a walk to a nearbyish lighthouse. The winding steep roads led us to the closed lighthouse, but did gives us a view of both coastlines before and after Llafranc. As ...
