... so was just lovely. We walked back down the tower spiral staircase amazing to think how they would have been built. On the metro home again and we did really well getting back. Just forgot the metro entrance on other side of road so started back the wrong way!! Took a couple of blocks to realize nothing looked familiar and had to turn round and retrace steps. Think we did more miles again than necessary!!

After that, we went to the Science Museum, Cosmocaixa. There was a cool Amazon jungle style rainforest, with a capybara, birds, MASSIVE fish, a caiman (a type of crocodile) and two snakes. The capybara was our highlight.

Next we visited Palau Guell, which is the other of Gaudi's structures we visited today. It is a mansion built in the late 1800s. After that, we had dinner, and I had an AMAZING ice cream.

... saw us visiting the modern church of Barcelona, the afternoon found us in the medieval one: the Cathedral of Barcelona. The dark Romanesque interior was in stark contrast to La Sagrada but just as atmospheric. The most beautiful part of the cathedral were its Cloisters which surrounded a lush courtyard filled with Palm trees and a pond full of white geese. Day three in Barcelona: Today we were off to the monastery of Montserrat. No Nuns, no cookies! Argh! The train ...

... to pick the best bands or highlights. Our first night we started old school with James, then we saw Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah. (This is a test remembering it all!) Night two was a good one - we started with Razorlight and then Tom Odell, Jake Bugg and Kasabian - who were amazing. The third night was quieter for us especially after how good the previous night was, but we still saw Katy B, Lily Allen, Libertines and Example. And then the final night we just raved ...
