      its situated in the middle of Las Ramblas just in front of Liceu metro station.But you must not expect too much from the hostal facilities

      ... I didn’t really feel like bacon and eggs so went with a Spanish omelette. It wasn’t what I expected. It came out as an omelette broken up into pieces and stuffed into a baguette! I ate half of it but it was a bit gluggy. Eli had bacon and eggs etc. We had a bit of trouble paying – in France when we used cards we never had to put in a pin, just sign.       ... around town. Barcelona is beautiful. Reminds me quite a bit of Paris due to some of the architecture, but less crowded and Spanish-speaking (which is a bit easier on me than French).

      I visited the Antoni Gaudi sites, including the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo (weird). It came pouring down rain as I was almost to Sagrada Familia, but I may go back tomorrow to see inside. During the storm, I took a cab back to the hotel to ...
