Had a good trip yesterday, the majority of it was on the A75 which is dual carriageway, unfortunately using local roads would have taken far too long. The road was fairly quiet but as the altitude increased so did the thickness of fog which we were in for about 30 miles then we were back in brilliant sunshine. Looking out of the van window now the sunshine is about to continue today.

... used here in walls, roads and houses is amazing, and some so very old , so much work! ,
We saw older cyclists, hikers and Harley bikers near the lighthouse before heading up the mountain and through the 18 roundabouts on our way to Nice! Only 580klms - great roads and maybe stop of at Nimes in France to see the famous Aqueduct I saw 40 years ago if I see a sign off the tollway! Calideques has been a very interesting less than 24 hour visit!!

... entrecote and BBQ Sole both served with BBQ vegetables and while we were waiting we were presented with a chilled glass of bubbly- nice touch!! There are many people here who speak some English and apparently a lot of the hotels, restaurants and shops close down in winter or reduce there trading to the weekend, but they are so busy the rest of the year that they don't mind the break. The main beach here is swept ...
