... have been quite pleasant but the Colombians seem to think that playing music from your phone at 1am is acceptable until I asked the man behind us to turn it off before Kate brained him with it. The same guy decided to wake us up at 6am whilst chatting to his friend which sums up Colombian manners quite well. As usual, expectations of greatness let things down a little as the taxi took us to our hostel in the ´La Candelaria´ barrio of Bogota. Many of ...

The stay has been going very well. I have been spending alot of my time with a my little Colombiana friend Yineth. She has been showing me the town, and of course we are hitting the gym every evening which is nice. I also met a guy from the states, which was cool cause he was into, you know… Getting Big like me!

It is nice to have someone translating when I have no idea what someone is saying. Well ...

    ... as of yet.
Hostel was really chilled out and I spent my first day in colomia exploring the sights and sounds of the city. Fresh fruit everywhere, and i was hot in a tshirt and shorts. Having got mildly lost on the straight road down to the supermerado the good folk of colombia couldnt do enough for me. A general trait as it turned out. And ...

... The former swam around in droves in a gigantic tropical pond with a mangrove tree in it and looked like they could eat a baby no bother. The latter trundled around with a baby on its back. Ain’t never seen a baby anteater before that’s for sure. Compared to Buin zoo near Santiago the enclosure sizes in Cali were small, especially the bear’s. Poor sod was pacing around furiously looking eager to jump the 20foot gap that separated us. All day at the zoo I ...

High heels. Unbuttoned button downs. Twisting, Turning. Passionate. Stunning. Can't take your eyes off of it.

    Salsa.

Our first destination in Colombia was Cali, the infamous salsa capital of the world. Crossing the border was nice and breezy. We left Quito at 10pm, crossed the border at 4 am and were back on the bus before 5 before continuing to Cali, and finally arrived at 6pm. We didn't even have to take our bags off the bus.
    As soon as ...
