... We decided a swim and a beer was enough exercise for one day. We returned, invigorated and ready for some more salsa lessons but the past few days had caught up and Mauricio was flat out asleep on the couch. This opened the way for a few casual drinks on the rooftop and a light wager on some poker which I won due to blind luck and treated Kate to a fancy lunch the next day before our night bus to Bogota. Also, some of the larger parrots seemed to be restricted to really spread their wings as they weren't in a large aviary as I would have thought... I guess the zookeepers usually know best.
I did love the aquarium and the frogs, toucans, monkeys (hilarious!!!) and animals that I have only ever read about or have seen pictures of, but to see them in real life and watch their behaviours really was quite memorable.
