... of Justice and on to the Parc de la Ciutadella. Upon entering the gates, I could see a golden chariot just rising above the palm trees and suggested we head in that direction. As we came through the trail, we entered a large plaza at the base of an enormous cascade, topped by the magnificent gilded chariot that emptied into a large pool. ... walking tour we prettied ourselves up and headed out again for what would turn out to be a very big night.

Our tapas tour started at a michelin star tapas restaurant that was just amazing it then moved to another bar that what it lacked in tapas it made up for in drink, we spent the next hour or so learning how to drink wine and beer from a traditional Catalan pirron.

The last restaurant had some delicious sangria and some more tapas ...

... a little wandering in backstreets found a brilliant tapas place in a tree-covered plaza overlooked by a cathedral with tango dancing street performers. So after a frustrating first night of not receiving my suitcase, I take the bus back to Madrid airport where I came to find out that my suitcase hadn't arrived... AGAIN! Needless to say, I was so frustrated because it was honestly a waste of time. They told me my bag wasn't going to arrive until the end of the week around January 28. ... a big breakfast because I knew we had a long day ahead of us. We went downstairs and waited for the walking tour. Our tour guide Tom arrived who was ginger.
