We visited a lot of different areas, but one of the more interesting areas was the Picasso museum. This museum housed the biggest collection of Picasso works in the world. What an amazing city! This is one place we just have to come back to. We only had a few days to spend here and if we had known how amazing it was we would have stayed a few weeks!

Its all about that Gaudi when you are in Barcelona! A must see is the La Sagrada Familia! Not finished yet...but still breathtaking! The stain glass windows are simply stunning and the inside of the cathedral is like no other we have been ...

... mosaics. These could also be found in the exterior courtyard and garden that we visited on our way out. Overall the house was absolutely incredible and the genius of Gaudi was absolutely represented in everything he touched. Again his style and ours would certainly not line up, but his work remains as a wonderful testimony to this period of time in the city of Barcelona and it was wonderful to get an up close look inside one of his finished projects.
