... of view. He showed us some sights that we could go to afterward as well. I really wanted to visit the Anne Frank House but the line was four hours long so had to give that one a miss. Will have to come back one day. We went to a cool market instead and had chicken, pancakes and waffles :) then we got baked and chilled out at our hotel for an hour before we had to meet for our last dinner all together. ... the inside of the dome. We got a good amount of time to look at the fresco and gather our breath before we had to start climbing again where the ascension stepped up a notch in the intensity. We could tell we were getting close to the Cupola because the ceiling of the tunnels were starting to arch in and the steps were getting closer together and practically vertical. ... at Garmin was not of help as they want me to ship the GPS back to the states to get repaired and I need the device starting next week or at least a couple of weeks from now! I am trying to see if I can possibly offload the US maps I don't need somehow to make space for the Europe maps since I purchased the device to use summers in Europe and don't need it in the US. Otherwise, I have a $400 wasted investment in the device and extra maps, for now.

... cream cone. We ordered our mojitos and when they came out, they were like no other Mojito we had ever had. There were no mint leaves to be seen, the color was kind of green, and the flavor was very sweet... kind of reminded me of Ecto cooler Hi-C as a kid. Not that great but refreshing. Amanda had brought a book about Park Guell with her so I read it and we looked at some parts together.

Guell hired Galdi to build a park for him somewhere around ...

... rock face. The architecture spans thousands of years. Being the holy Friday the crowds were huge with many locals travelling to worship, quite special even for myself the non believer. Mardi was particularly taken by the religious significance of the place and asked for forgiveness for the bacon and sausage.... oh and the pork crisps she scavenged from strangers before realising it was pork....... oh dear!
