... well stay and get ready to go to the beach. The aire attendant tells us that it is only 200m to the beach but when we walk there – in flip-flops and carrying beach kit– we find he is a filthy rotten liar and it takes a full hour to walk there. We have flip-flop chafing and only get an hour on the beach before we decide we must embark on the return journey before dinner.

Today we'd arranged to meet Sharon (ex MRINZ) and Sean, who were skipping a days skiing in Andorra to drive down into Barcelona.

... but it was a nice day.

By about 4:00 we were pretty worn out so we found a place to eat dinner called Emperador which was right on the waterfront. We had several tapas plates. What a great way to spend our night in Spain. We then headed back to the hotel for a quick snack then to shower and settle in for the night.

... and probably still would today. He was not fond of straight lines, and his work tended to consist of curves and multiple colours. His most famous piece is the Sagrada Familla. Mostly famous because he died before he could finish it in 1926, and it’s still not complete today. They think possibly another 40 years to go.
