... by Rafael on Plaza de Armas, Inca Grill. The place turned out to be a typical tourist place, with several large tour groups taking up many of the tables. I asked for a table for one, but was asked to wait for 5 minutes at the bar. While waiting, which turned out to be a lot more than 5 minutes, I stuffed myself with the rather dull chips they put in front of me. When I had gotten tired of waiting I asked again for a table, and it turned out that there ...

... uphill bits, though not that steep, were killing me because I had not eaten for a while. I managed to get through it without falling off my bike, my main objective, and without ******** myself, my secondary objective. But I was still ill when we got back so we decided to go see a pharmacist and tell them that the anti-biotics were not working out. The dude said it was a parasite or virus so sold me some more pills and said I should be better in the morning.

However, when the colonies began to rebel against Spanish rule, the guacho came into his own. Used to spending long periods of time in the saddle, having developed excellent horsemanship and used to fending for himself, often ...

We booked a Cruz Del Sur bus to Cuzco direct from Lima through Cuzco Tours agency at $50US each and a tour of Macchu Picchu by car for $110US each (student price) with one night stay in Aguas Calientes, plus 2 nights stay in Hostal Santa Maria in Cuzco for $180US including everything. Apparently Cruz del Sur is the best company to make this journey with as it ...

The Buell seemed to be running real great afterwards - we made it to Ollantaytambo and a little further on, stayed overnight in a hostel there and in the morning we started tbe Buell again but the "check engine" light came on. We decided it not a good idea to drive further away from a place we could find help.
We turned around, abandoning our plans ...
... I was pretty exhausted. I still had to walk miles around Cusco to get back to the hostel (I may have taken a wrong turn along the way somewhere) and so I just crashed and spent the evening in the hostel. They have a restaurant serving reasonably-priced meals and I met some cool people and had a few beers... I resisted the temptation to go out, however, as I couldn't face the prospect of even more walking....
Today, I'm feeling good and energised. I've bitten the bullet and ...
