  • Dogs - literally every house seems to have a dog here. At least one if not more. And these are not tiny little yappy creatures but great big dogs and you know how i feel about those (clue, not entirely positive).     ... to get up. At least half the way. We wanted to get higher but it started to hail. Did I mention we are pretty lucky as well? :D.
    Up there they have a skiing region in winter. The volcano errupted the last time in 1977 btw, even if just for 2 hours. The sight we had was pretty surreal as we were on the same hight the cloud cover was on. We all got wet from head to toes but it was definitely worth it!!

    We arrive and are the only two guests there that day. We are met by Felipe, a charming young guy with excellent English. Turns out Senda Remahue is basically a 750 hectare farm. I hear Felipe tell the driver to be back for us at 5.30. As it is now only 9.30 I fear this is going to be a very long day, doing God knows what boring stuff. Never been so wrong in my life.
