          ... road trip, we decided to take it for a test drive to Lago Caburga. The weather was beginning to clear and we did manage to get a half decent photo of the lake.

          Back in Pucón, we parked the car up for the night and went for dinner at La Cala, a pizzeria with proper pizza oven. Maria used to go there 7 years ago and the pizzas were good then. They were still good now too. This is another place we could easily come back to.

          ... cold pretty much the whole time.

          The rapids just seemed to get better and better and we were really starting to get tossed around a bit. On the last one lost control and ended up doing a full flip and jenny lost it rapid before and went into a huge one backwards scary for a second but all you need to do is hold on. Before we knew it and hour was up, right on time in my opinion I think we had been banged around enough at that point.

          ... Earth. It is the ultimate 'surf and turf' full of chicken, chorizo, pork, potatoe, dumplings, clams, mussels and beans. Some magic occurs under the ground and 2 hours later the pit is dug up and the feast is ready to be attacked.

          With full bellies we left and had a quick stop over in Puerto Varas a cute little town on the edge of a lake, on the edge of a volcano, on the edge of Chile.
