... neither of us had quite appreciated, seemingly going on as far as the eye could see. A fresh dump of snow on the mountains did the scenery no harm either. Perched on the top of the hill is the statue of the Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepcíon who gazes out over Santiago. A lunch of empañadas on the top before we took the funicular back down again spotting a well dressed Llama at the bottom!

Headed to Buenos Aires

... in the Paris of South America! We arrived at our hotel in Buenos Aires and found it to be very charming, just like the last hotel! It is owned by a German woman who converted it from an old house. There are only 6 guest rooms so it's very intimate. The bartender made some sangria for us and we chatted with her for a bit before heading to dinner. We went to a restaurant called ILatina- they are a Columbian restaurant ...
