Our boarder crossing from Costa Rica to Panama was hands down the easiest experience anyone could have at a border. 20 minutes of stamps and a 5 dollar fee led us to a minivan to send us to Boquete, Panama. so until we start our adventures here, thats all i have to share with you. I will post pictures as soon as i have a good computer. Untill then, some pictures are on my face book.

A Journey and a Half
We woke at 5.30am and got ready to face our longest day of travels so far! Today we headed to Panama City a journey which would take us all day and we mean all day...still at least we would be getting away from the terrible weather. Today we also had a travelling friend with us to add a bit of difference to the conversation. Charly was from Devon …
Malls & Movies
As we were still a little jet lagged (aka lazy) from our humongous bus journey we decided to take it easy today as too much stress is not a good thing. So we decided to head to the local Alwood Mall, a short $2 taxi ride away. It was actually the station where our bus from David dropped us off, but as we were so tired we hadn't paid much attention …

We enjoyed our stay. The double room was tiny and dark but clean and quiet. The washroom facilities were down the hall but it was a short distance away so it was fine. The staff were excellent - very helpful. I would stay here again.

Our family of four had the private family room. It was cramped and warm (no AC) but there were 2 fans and it was clean. We spent very little time in the room, hanging our mostly in the main open air seating area. The staff were very good - helpful and spoke english, nice for us. The kitchen had everything one wanted. The area around the hostel left little to be desired but it felt safe, just not fun and exciting. We would stay there again.

quite big hostel, loads of people, very clean, but not in the best area. not dangerous, but not nice. stuff sometimes helpfull, sometimes not, depending on the people behind the reception. double privat is a little bit overpriced regarding shared bathroom.

If you are going to South America, they can get you on a boat with their new travel agency for about 450$ also have a three night package on San Blas for $250...
