... in a Zorb Ball and thne testing their luck in the 'rotating' Sprite bottle, we headed out for a nice stroll on the Passeig de Muralla. Taking in the views of the city and the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees with the sun setting in the background. Then it was a local dish of Costanyas, some Kürtos and lastly some good Girona liquor before heading back to the train for the return to Barcelona!

What a great trip to an incredible city and a great day spent with a good friend!

Day 21 - Avignon   To Perpignan Tuesday  02-10-12 Back On The Road. Cruising down the highway at 130 km, the only concern are the trucks that tend to change lanes and indicate at the same time, no time to take in much of the scenery. Wen you do get a chance, not a bad view. Plenty of vineyards with old small stone shacks, quaint. Heading to Perpignan so we can drop the car off and catch the train to ...

... provided more insight into the relationship dynamics that existed between Dalí and his lovely muse Gala.

I have always been intrigued by Dalí as he seemed to be a larger than life personality – crazy, bizarre, and full of confidence. It seems that people gravitate towards those individuals who stand out – perhaps it’s something we are missing in our own lives. Coming to this area of the world where Dalí grew up and ...
