Walking on Clouds
... could see snow on the side off the road. Considering it is the middle of summer this appeared to be very strange, we latter found out it was in fact a hailstorm which had been strong enough to cover the ground. At this point of the tour we were not able to see the volcano due to the low cloud cover and once we got to about 900 metres we were driving through the cloud. Rafting und Silvester Feuerwerk über dem See
... meiste Zeit total entspannend und wenn wir durch die Stromschnellen fuhren und alle auf Kommando in die gleiche Richtung paddelten und klatschnaß wurden, war das total lustig. Zwischendurch hielten wir irgendwo, wo wir alle von den Uferfelsen einen Sprung in den Fluss machen durften und am Ende konnte sich wer Lust hatte durch ein paar seichtere Stromschnellen treiben lassen. Navigeren door de fjorden
... voor is. Onderweg komen we een van de 7 volbloeden tegen, niet dat ik het zou zien, maar het werd ons verteld. We hadden maar een uur, dus na een bezoekje aan een uitkijkpunt moeten we weer terug. Hier wonen dus mensen, ver weg van iedereen. Cool om hier geweest te zijn!

End of the Carretera Austral...Puerto Montt
... given up on her after the Bibbulmun track in Australia, the west Highland way in Scotland, torres del Paine, Cerro Fizroy, not to mention numerous damp outings on Dartmoor. Her zoom lens is also malfunctioning so Puerto Montt represents the best chance of us sorting all of this out without having to go to Santiago which neither of us are keen on. Annoying the next day is a Sunday so we'll have to bide our time till then.
