The Best Part of the Trip
It's been a little while since I posted anything and for good reason. This past Thursday I got sick. Really sick. Throughout the afternoon and evening, I mostly just felt queasy and a loss of energy, so I laid in bed during most of that time. Right around 9 pm though, some fever hit me like nobody's business. My temperature must have been well over 100 degrees, because I needed four blankets ...

I am hoping that the photos will help to fill in some details from the week....I will probably be adding more of them later, but here are about 130 or so to give you a taste of the week.
Thank-you all for your prayers and support of this week. The week overall went well, and while we are still "processing" the week, we are beginning to pray about what "next time" will look like....you can pray with us about that, too.

... gebucht und das waere alles nicht deren Problem.
In diesen Momenten bin ich ja immer besonders ruhig.. das fuehrte dann auch nach 30 min. zu einem Ergebnis (vielleicht kamen wir auch zu dem Ergebnis weil Franzi immer schoen freundlich geblieben ist..) auf jeden Fall mussten wir in Antigua uebernachten und am naechsten Tag weiter..allerdings ohne weitere Kosten.
Auf gehts nach Rio Dulce (die zweite)!!

This hostel is extremely clean! Kitchen facilities available on the roof terrace and you can use a neighbouring hotel's pool facilities etc. for a small fee. In a great location also two blocks from the main square.
