Woke up early at 7am again! I can't wake up any later really which is a little annoying but helpful when we want to get out and look about! Got dressed, facetimed mum and grandma, first time Ross seen grandmas face in about 3 months! We didn't want to sit down and eat food for breakfast so we got it on the go, it was boiling out again this morning, around 25 degrees at 9am! We walked up through to the hills, went through a lovely suburban like area, decided to ask a local if we were going ...

... day by a walk to Santa Monica Pier which was familiar to some junior members of the team from GTA. Some watched a film crew trail a 'celebrity' around the funfair stalls, some looked for sweets and candy floss, some walked to the end of the pier, some watched the marvellous sunset and posed for photos and the brave took Lawrence on a roller coaster ride of his life! A wonderful close on another exceedingly perfect day and the end of Dan's holiday as he now needs to leave for ...

The nicest sound ever was to hear Nomes' Aussie voice calling out 'Cilla' as I stared, in a daze, at the baggage carousel. It was unbelievably good to see her again - I think it's been two months! We kept on having excited moments at the fact that we were in LA, and that we were together again! Both starving by this time we headed to Starbucks for food. ...

... most of them had finished and then it was time to help some have a shower and get dressed. The elderly women I helped, her name was Rose she was 90 years old and still had a sense of humour.

We played Bingo for an hour and did a small magic show, the elderly quite enjoyed that. I helped cook some roast chicken and veggies for lunch and then clean up the tables after. I then did some ...

... circling overhead and the street cordoned off, we guessed they were expecting trouble..
Oh, by the way, don't press your luck with street parking after hours in Hollywood. Most of the street parking becomes clearways after 6.00pm. There are "parking enforcement" patrol cars, backed up by dozens of tow trucks that just move into a street and remove every car. Taking them to an impound yard to be collected the next day, after a hefty fine of course..
