Flying into LA at night is amazing as the lights are so bright and go on for miles and miles and it's quite strange to see them all in neat little blocks. We land and I'm soon standing in the line waiting to go through immigration, I'm stood there for over an hour waiting for the people in front of me to move and eventually get moved to another …
This morning I was checking Facebook as per usual when I noticed that one I of the guys I met in Thailand, Dan, is in Los Angeles at the moment. After a brief exchange of messages we agreed to meet up for a few beers.
At 7:30 I met Dan outside his hostel and headed to the Power House, a small dive bar just of Hollywood Boulevard. We took …

After a 14 hour flight, I arrived in Los Angeles this morning at around 9am, effectivey 6 hours before I left. Quite a strange feeling.

There were cameras in the women's restroom. The hostel is not was is pictured on their website. It is freezing cold and dirty.
This was the worst experience I have ever had staying anywhere. There are large picture windows without curtains. There is little privacy in the women's shower area. The public can see into the women's shower area from the street. In the sleeping room I had to hid in a corner just to get dressed.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
