... departure. The apartment is only 15mins away so we left at 1:30 and of course, there was a traffic jam so we didn't get there till 2:15. It was ok though as there wasn't a lot of people trying to get through security at the same time as me.

Security takes a while to get through so I had about an hour to kill once I was through and before boarding.

Barry found a window, where he could sit and watch the planes ...

... the best ever!! As it turns out we were located at the stern, where the DJ, main bar and dance floor were located. Wow, our age was showing as it seemed everyone crammed on the dance floor knew the words and moves to every song played. So disorganization turned into happy chaos and everyone had a wonderful time till 11. Alas Susan;s Metro card wouldn't work when she swiped it, and we turned to see our new friends ride off in the subway never to be seen again. ...

... the lucky ones you had a whole body to bury. There were only 160 of the 2900 who died. We then walked to the two memorials and finished out tour. We got to keep our headphones as part of the fee we paid. If anyone wants to listen to it, we have it. The memorials are two large square water features that has all the names around it.
