... started on their coastal 'Newport Mansions' walk, but got so hot that we couldn't finish it (it was a 3.5 mile one-way walk so you have to walk back again). The sea looked so inviting, with the broad sandy beach only sparsely populated with sunbathers. If it had been Britain there wouldn't have been room to swing a battered cod.
