Another early start up at 4:30 picked up by taxi over rainbow bridge Niagara Falls and through customs at other side of bridge as now in United States - finger printed and photos taken and now on train on our way to New York 9 hour train trip so will get into Manhatten at 10 to 4 this afternoon. ... br> It ended up taking us about 40 minutes to walk and Jeremy, the host was there waiting for us. He also had to go out so we thanked him for waiting and we quickly got changed, made the 15 minute walk to the theatre and collected out tickets with 10 minutes to spare, so we cut it pretty fine, but we were happy we made it. No time to eat so we just paid a ridiculous sum of $20 for just a bottle of water, a small Pringles chips and a Coke to tide us ...

... so good to do it now that we know so much more about the City and on a perfect day! Bought some lunch and picnicked in Central Park, then went to the Zoo! It is brilliant, perfect size and beautiful tropical aviary and saw a Snow Leopard up close and personal, a beautiful creature!

... Park, (I could walk around there all day) and Brooklyn Bridge - having ace views of the city, Brooklyn, the cars passing by and pretty much anything and everything. If you squint, you can almost get a decent picture of the Statue of Liberty.
