Toronto Accomodation

A travel blog entry by hjgm

Arriving in Toronto I had thought that I had landed the best hostel ever. There was a toilet in the room, much better than the place in Ottawa where the one on the floor was broken, meaning I had to down two flights of stairs (not good in the middle of the night). There was containers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower (yay! Free …

Waterfalls and Titts

Last Minute fun in Toronto

A travel blog entry by thomasmolineaux

We built this city....

A travel blog entry by leighge

Toronto is a strange place. I'm not saying I didn't like it, it just felt a little odd to me. I couldn't quite work it out. Addmittedly I only visited for a short time as I extended my stay in Niagara Falls, but still I struggled to to find the identity of the city. It's huge - there are over 6 million people in the greater Toronto area, and 49% of …

The Director & His Little TIFF

A travel blog entry by philippajane86

Any intention of waking up early to get a head start on a load of washing was forgotten as the past three days of volunteering, lining up for hours on end, and watching films finally caught up with me; I remained in bed until after nine. What followed was a manic rush to gather some wash-day clothes that could replace everything else headed for the …

Great hostel, great location, friendly staff

The hostel is right off King Street, so next to the Street Car, and a block or two away from the historic St Lawrence Market. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the beds and bathrooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard; I was able to leave my luggage in a large and secure locker before I checked in, and there were plenty of trips and social events posted for each day of the week.

    Cramped Rooms, Nice Common Areas

    Reviewed Oct 14, 2010

This is probably the most cramped hostel I've ever stayed in. I could barely turn around in the bathroom. I was in a 6 person room and really only 3 people could be out of bed at once because that was all the space there was. However, the common areas are nice, spacious, and fun. The food was good. The location is ok, not the most fun part of town but not terrible either.
