Today was Netherlands day! We started the morning out with breakfast, loading up on what we could to last us a while. Come to find we didn't get charge for breakfast the day before but we had today and it was 19 euro a person as opposed to the 4.90 we thought we had heard. Have had some great local dishes on the ship; creamy Dutch cream soup, the best herring, everything cooked to perfection. Tonight Captain's Reception and Dinner. Love the ever changing view from our stateroom window as we head to Cologne. The gentle rocking of the boat at night is a bonus. Can't wait to be in Germany-a place close and dear to my ...

... and the Efteling, the Netherland’s most famous theme park. And we LOVE Theme Parks. But the fun didn’t stop there we were lucky enough to celebrate Bart aka Kosta’s Doppel Ganger and McGay’s aka The Blue Smurf birthdays in Tilburg, where we ensured that we left a lasting impression on their Dutch friends.

After our visit to the south we returned to the centre (of the universe), Utrecht to do a thing more Dutch ...
