... Linnanmaki was open that night and doing a light show and concerts so jumped on a bus and headed over. Got the **** scared out of me by a couple of ghosts (since Halloween seems to last for the whole of October here) and Adam went on a couple of rides (of course)!! ... it without opposition. It sounds to me like the fort was a bit of a failure, but the Fins are still proud of it.
After the tour we went on a bit of a walk around the island. It was very green and hard to believe before the fort was constructed it was only rocks and no grass or anything (so we were told on the tour). On our wanderings we found a random café for lunch which wasn't on the map. We realised why as it was just one old guy who was doing everything serving, ...
