1st day (really just a night)
Basically just got there and passed out. It had been a long week.

2nd day
woke up to the most annoying alarm ever. Went to Sagrada Familia which was a very strange but also very interesting building. I highly recommend it. We walked over the the park next to it where there was a guy making these huge …

First stop spring break- BARCELONA!

We all really wanted a nice easygoing spring break to relax, so we booked the first flight to Barcelona, Spain and the flight home departing from Porto, Portugal. Any adventure or concern in between was made on the fly.

We flew in from Bologna, Italy on Friday afternoon. The annoying part of our travels was flying with RyanAir which only …

Our first stop for Spring Break was Barcelona. We flew in from Bologna, Italy on Friday afternoon. The annoying part of our travels was flying with RyanAir which only let you carry-on one piece of baggage onto the plane. This was quite the struggle for my roommates and I when we started packing for 9 days in one bag. Somehow we got everything to …

Barcelona...that way?

It had to happen sometime, a hiccup during transportation. Our journey to Barcelona was 14 hours long and confusing as hell. We were scheduled to take three trains to Barcelona but there was some problem (to this day couldn't decode what the problem was). Ended up boarding a bus that people just kept yelling "BARCELONA" and pointing to. We were …

Sun, Sand, and Sangria

Sunny Barcelona...it's like the California of Europe. Full of beach bums and tourists who want to be beach bums. We enjoyed one fun filled day of sight seeing and the rest of our time was spent on the beach or in the water. Our sight seeing adventure began at Gaudi's church. This monster cathedral looks like something out of a Grimm brothers …

Great experience but no AC all day

Loved the bar inside the hostel but did not like that outside friends could not come in a join. Did like the security key watches for all of the doors instead of having to carry around various keys. Wish the rooms were a big larger. It would have been nice to have the AC on ALL the time instead of just from 10pm to 10am.
