... group there are troop carriers available for hire to take you around the island via the back 4wd roads. Along with the activity taking the students along tracks will hopefully encourage more young people to get out and see the magnificent flora and fauna of the world.
... but never back up. There were villages much further upstream from where we'd stopped that took six hours to get to in a motorised boat, so trying it on bamboo doesn't bare worth thinking about. After the rafting we we're taken to a village back downstream towards where we had started. When we arrived we were led to a shelter where a fire was covered over with leaves which turned out to be our lunch cooking. Once this had been unearthed we were treated to a ...
... again. The next day was our last, we checked out by 10 then spent the rest of the day chilling around the beach and using the free wifi. We will get a taxi later to the airport where our plane leaves at 5:30! Fiji has Been amazing and is a true paradise! Jo and I have both loved it here and visiting all the islands and we were lucky as we have stayed on islands both in the yasawa group and mamanuca! I would defiantly tell people to go and would love to come here again ...
... and checking out the shops was limited to half a dozen shops.... I could have kept going, but a taxi was sought and we headed back to the resort. Jan cooled in the room, while I sun baked on the terrace.
Dinner was 'Taste of Fiji' and was delish. The entertainment was great.

and to top it all off.... It's Friday the 13th with a Full Moon!!! Next one won't occur again until ...
... pick up the transfer for the hostel. George asked naively for directions to a salesman, who kindly invited us into there shop where we pushed into purchasing a ferry pass to do island hopping for a week. After purchasing the pass we were eventually shown to our driver to the hostel. After hearing the news that we had just purchased our ticket for the ferry elsewhere became annoyed letting us sit in the van whilst he backtracked and got our money back from ...
