... Fijian entertainment. Overall it was an excellent night. Duration of the cruise is 3 hours and it costs around $85pp.
School groups would like this cruise as it is fun and full of entertainment but interesting at the same time. Surfing will also be a popular activity for the students as they will get to learn to surf and hopefully by the end of the session be riding waves and having the time of their lives.

Also on the day I moved to Barefoot it was Fiji Day (celebrating independence from Britain) so during the morning at Coralview we'd had all kinds of games from tug of war to apple eating, and then in the evening once I got to Barefoot there was traditional dancing, food and the Fijian drink 'Kava'. Not the 'Cava' we know in the UK but instead a root mixed with water that looks like ...
... out the sea it was beginning to rain, we couldn't see anyone else around but we assumed it was just because of the weather. We showered and then remembered lunch was served 12-1pm! In a panic we quickly rushed back to our hut to check the time, it was 12:45 so we had nearly missed it! We ran up to the restaurant and quickly got our orders in. The rain got heavier after lunch so we had a nap and then chilled out on the sofa's in the comunnal area. ...

A taxi driver lived just by the bus stop and I was chatting to him (having declined to be his fare) when a guy pulled up in a car and delivered some gifts to the house next door. The occupants and the gift deliverer stood chatting for a fair while and my bus was clearly on Fiji time and running a good 20 minutes late (so far...).
