      ... is still work in progress haha.. We're catching the train to stay with my cousin Stephanie in Cologne (Germany) this afternoon and will be out with her tonight! Sorry the photos are of poor quality- I've started taking more on my good camera instead of my phone and so to get them on here I have to take a photo of a photo and it doesn't come out too good..       ... here was worth it! We then caught the train to a cafe where we had the best vanilla chai latte ever! We caught the train back to the city and bought a pretzel after being snipped at with tongs by the guy who ran the shop haha. Oh and while I was sticking my head out the window I realised that the city of Frankfurt smells like frankfurters and onion just incase you were wondering haha. Overall a great first day in ...

      ... to look for a place to stay for the night. We would knock on doors that had "pension" signs in them. All of the places we looked at were completely full. I started to panic, so we drove outside of town through the country roads and it was all farming land, so we didn't find anything.       ... the Main to another pedestrian bridge that returned us to north bank.

      By this time we felt the occasional raindrop. As we made for the hotel, the rain got more aggressive so we took shelter in a restaurant, Leib & Seele. Good food.

      After we ate, we made for the hotel as the rain had stopped. A tram was available so we rode to the hauptbahnhof. We were settled by 9:00pm in anticipation of our trip to das kapital in the morning.

      ... shop. Apfelwein (apple wine), is something that is only popular in the Frankfurt area. In the summertime, you can always find it on hot summer days in restaurants and biergartens. At the shop, the owner told us everything he knew (which was a lot) about the different types of Apfelwein, including how it is made and about the different varieties of this fine drink.
