        We did get out to see the Tesla museum, which was small, but very interesting. That man was the genius you never head about but owe everything to. He was a very interesting guy and got screwed over by Edison on at least one patent. But Tesla won the "war of currents" and that's why our houses and most electrical devices run on AC instead of the DC lobbied by Edison. ...

        We had uneventful flights from Houston to Frankfurt to Belgrade, and we shared a taxi with a nice Polish guy who helped negotiate the taxi price into Belgrade. The taxi driver was super nice and took it upon himself to give us almost a driving tour of Belgrade. He explained every important building we passed and told us some history of the city.         ... and the end of the second leg of the trip - all in all, Belgrade wasn't the most exciting place for us, and it's doubtful that we would ever return.         A side note: the last location where we found Bikeline Donau-Radweg series available in some bookstores was Vienna. Highway maps of Romania, for instance, are not available here in Belgrade.

        Hiro did find a small scale map of Europe which is useless for finding alternative cycle roads but give a general idea of where you are in the grand scheme of things.
