... fly on the 31st) and that I didn't trust Air Serbia's flight to be on time tomorrow and that we would need an earlier flight. When she said that was the airline's only flight, I told her to find us another airline and that we weren't paying for a new flight. I definitely thought that this wouldn't work, but it did! Within five minutes we had a new flight for 6:15 am with Lufthansa, and all I could think was "a German airline will definitely be on time!" We then got driven to the ...

At any rate, I inquired about the price and found that a room would be 50 euros (about $65.00) and included breakfast. We happily checked in and made our way to our room. ... carbonnera, and pizza, all of which were good. The tab was 2,130 dinar ($23.67).

Returned to the hotel at 9:16. Packed, online, and bed at 10:59. Tomorrow morning we have an early flight to Berlin. This completes the Balkans tour – six countries in two weeks. It’s been quite enjoyable, and aside from today, we’ve been lucky to have had beautiful warm and sunny weather, with temperatures well above normal for this time of year.

... House, City Square, Fortress etc. It’s a much more walkable City then we first thought. Had a good wander through the City Park in the sun (hot day today) and saw old men playing chess, people walking their dogs as well as a woman walking her cat and an old man taking his white rabbit for a walk!

One of the most interesting sights was the old Serbian Army HQ which was blasted by NATO missiles (actually US bombers) in 1999 and has not been ...
