This hostel is a must visit, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are clean, tidy and a reasonable size and it is fantastic value for money. The arrival drink and the free beer hour are a welcomed bonus. If you visiting Hanoi - stay here!

We had a small hiccup which results in a long long story but basically we have spent the last 5 weeks just outside of Manchester, not quite the jet setter destination we were aiming for but hey ho. The important part is that, after over …
Good Mooorring Vietttttttnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaam
Today has been non stop, from our free breakfast at 9.30am to the free beers at 6pm we have barely stopped all day. We visited the Temple of Literature, apparently a 15 minute minute walk from the Hostel, not if your are us though, more like an hour with a lot of to'ing and fro'ing up the same street...in our defence there were two cross roads with …
Puppets and muppets on scooters.
After clinging on tightly in the taxi from the airport to the hostel we finally arrived safely in Hanoi. We have never heard so many horns beeping in one place at a time. Drivers do not look but rely on their horn to get them through a junction which means crossing the road can be a dangerous aaffair! The first day was speant seeking out food and …
