... disappointing. Perhaps we are spoilt coming from Aus or starting with our first beach experience in Isla Mujeres or maybe it truly was just due to a few bad storms but the beach was full of seaweed and had a section of brown murky water to wade through before reaching the blue waters. When stuck in sudden downpour we headed into a water park for cover finding ...

I've taken a night bus to Isla Mujeres, off the coast of Cancun. The hostel offers reef diving tours (just snorkelling for me.... I swallowed a significant part of the ocean too). They also offer massage but I'm too sunburned to get involved, it's on my list for tomorrow. I finally found some other travellers, so I'm swapping stories and relaxing tonight. We said we were and she said she could tell. She was from America here on holiday for five days with her husband who came over to say hi as well. We had such a lovely morning I'm glad we went out. FYI we might go travelling next month so watch this ...

... not get too caught up in being busy!! Missing Mexican food and getting up each day wondering what adventure the day would hold but it has been nice catching up with family and friends and telling the holiday stories!! Time to start planning the next one me thinks, when I have some leave again anyway!!!! Each trip has made me appreciate how lucky we have it here, very blessed to live in a free country where we can speak our minds and live how we want, pretty lucky really!
