Today has been the longest and coolest day so far and it's only 5:30. Today I walked the entire freedom trail (I only meant to walk part, but following the red brick road is fun), saw Boston Common, Public Garden, Faneuil Hall and the marketplace, took a ferry, and saw Harvard. Running up and down the major (Chinatown) cities on the east coast are the Chinatown buses. They´re as dirt cheap as the Megabus in the UK (indeed, Megabus USA runs a similar service on the same routes) but they have films and free wifi...and they´re less popular with those that didn´t quiet make it onto the Trisha Show. Welcome to Boston! After a plane landing that resembled a rollarcoaster ride and a full cavity search in customs PLUS minus 6 hour jet lag it was somewhat a relief to reach the hostel! Arriving in Boston at 2.30pm, having left New York City at 10am (and pulling a random Greyhound employee named Marvin in the process) I discovered it has recently been snowing here and is super cold. The subway - known locally as the T - is easy to navigate (it only has 4 lines) and you need to buy a 'Charlie Card' for $2 per ride.
