to the town of Steckborn where we met the gang of relatives and jumped on board
a boat which took us down river ...

bicycles and head out for a cruise around the shores of Lake Constance. Some
statistics: The Lake is 63kms long and 14kms wide and 250 meters deep at its
deepest. Needless to say we were never going to ride around the whole ...

... reading the signs, we were very nervous!

The bike ride around lakefront was lovely. The place was buzzing on the Sunday afternoon. We found the massive outdoor theatre especially created to stage major productions over the summer. The set (dominated by three huge dragons) was in the lake itself. A little more involved than Thames Musical Theatre productions!
