      The fog started to roll in at around 5:30 so I jumped on the bus and headed back to the apartment. By the time I got there, the fog was so thick I couldn't see 2 houses in front of me. So glad I didn't get caught downtown like that. I would never have found my way back. ...

      ... see 'The Rock' starring Sean Connelly and Nicholas Cage) was off the cards as you had to book in advance. Which we hadn't. But we did manage to meet up with my friend Emma who was randomly in the vicinity and shared some delicious crab soup and some C******nay (well her and Ed indulged). Really nice to see a friend - despite all the smiley yanks, it is good to see someone you know. One month done, three states complete and nearly 2000 miles under the belt. Next stop TEXAS!

      ... officers and lots of special deck games take place. Another question? Yes we have TV in the cabin but I watch Downton on my laptop, I downloaded the complete series before we left. How's the swimming? Not so good I get in the pool most afternoons but the water is always a bit turbulent and I swim like crazy but get absolutely nowhere most of the time. Still I shall persevere.
