... surprise. It's massive and has elements of Central park in NY but not quite the size. You can walk, cycle or Segway in this park. In the park we saw a playground and carousel. I was tempted to ride the carousel but there were only little kids and their parents on it so I passed. We saw Shakespeare Garden - not much Shakespeare here but it was a pretty garden. ... t finish all mine, and that was withut a starter OR a pudding. Somehow I don't think the brisk walk back (all 4 blocks) will be enough to justify what we did have, though. Eventually after much faffling about, I managed to get online, fill in the form, enter my credit card details... AND put in the date in the format preferred by the Americans; and the payment went through after only 3-4 attempts. They at no stage told me how much I had paid, but ... whatever. ...
... Gate Park - quite eye-opening. It's known as the hippy street of SF. Golden Gate Park was amazing - Conservatory of Flowers, Botanic Gardens, de Young Museum, Stow Lake, Bisson Paddock, Polo Fields and a golf course - all in a park in the City. Amazing.
The Exploratory Museum was also great, but we didn't get to spend a heap of time there. It had a heap of exhibits that ...
