... Philippino people who were travelling for a few days. They told me that if the ferry was going to go to the "other dock" we could share their ride to get there. So, when we heard where the boat was coming to, we hopped in "their" truck and were transported across the island (again) to the "broken" dock, which incidentally was only five minutes from our hotel!! When we got to the other pier, we were actually third in line for tickets. ...

... pad - at the foot of the pad is a note explaining most of the staff are deaf, so it is easier to write your order. Anna has some delicious french toast, whilst Ian opts for some hard cheese wrapped in a pancake/omelette accompanied by a bread bun. Not the greatest breakfast he has ever eaten and he sits there glumly. Once we have eaten we look at the time to see how much time we have killed so far. It is still only 9am. So we decide to have another drink and Ian orders a mango pie ...

... far away' and there was only 30 mins until boarding. 'Quite far' doesn’t even begin to describe the assault course we were about to embark.

So we had 30 mins to get to the plane and about 15 of them were spent waiting at passport control. We had joined the shortest queue but there was a doddery old lady serving and it was taking her an age to do all the checks (6-2).

After that we had to go up escalators, down escalators (no mean feat with a buggy) ...
